In 1455 Johannes Gutenberg, a German craftsman, perfected a new method of printing: moveable type. His method was used with little change into the 20th century. The Eagle publisher, Jim Guttenberg, standing in front of the Cocoa Beach pier, proclaims to the world, that he too, "is the moveable type." In the proud tradition of his ancestor, he continues to convert words into type, producing The Eagle weekly newspaper.
